Every WildTAC chapter trains and certifies to the same external benchmark: the CyberTracker Conservation Track & Sign standard. Developed in South Africa and now applied across Africa, Europe, and North America, it is an internationally recognised, field-based evaluation of how reliably a tracker can identify and interpret animal tracks and sign — scored from Level I through Professional by qualified evaluators.
CyberTracker is owned and governed independently of WildTAC. We do not own or issue the certification — our chapters host evaluations and prepare participants for them through qualified CyberTracker evaluators. Working to one shared standard is what lets tracking skills and field data hold up across borders and between chapters.
